USA, Texas, Fort Worth: Siemens has officially inaugurated its $190 M electrical equipment manufacturing facility in Fort Worth with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Part of the company’s Smart Infrastructure business, the site will produce reliable and efficient electrical equipment such as low-voltage switchboards, aiming to support the demand from the booming data centre market and America’s AI growth.
The new site, which spans 46,500 m2 (500,000 sq ft), allows Siemens to scale the US production of critical electrical infrastructure solutions and create up to 800 jobs by 2026.
The carbon-neutral facility reinforces Siemens’ commitment to net-zero operations, ensuring energy-efficient American data centres from the ground up.
