National Grid selects Siemens Energy to construct HVDC converter stations for the Sea Link power project between Suffolk and Kent.

The UK’s energy regulator, Ofgem, has launched a public consultation on a proposed subsea cable replacement project in the Scottish Hebrides.

The project involves the installation of a high voltage alternating current (HVAC) subsea cable linking Orkney to mainland Scotland.
